Just a quick note to any runners do not jump straight in and run give distances you will ruin your calfs break them in. Mum borrowed mine 13 miles in ping went her calf.

On a + note they are amazingly comfy and look amazing basically I love them I wouldn't ever wear anything else again I feel like I have a spring in my step with them lol.

Some slight negatives, they don't protect your feet at all. I constantly bang my little toe or something on a random lose plate and think ooooow even when I hardly touched it. Also every tom **** and harry thinks your into boating and will ask you what you sail. The answer sweet Fa

Vibram five fingers are one of the best running products that I have bought in my lifetime. I am a neutral runner and land on my mid foot, what I do notice is my form changes slightly, I straighten up and get up on my toes. The first week with the vibram five five fingers, I did a two mile. However, I ran entirely on the grass on the outside edge of a park. The following week, I ran another four miler and did a seven miler two days after the four miler with relative ease. At the end of the seven mile run, my feet were a tad sore but I had no discomfort the next day. Running on concrete and asphalt is still too difficult for me, but I think if you did it enough your feet and legs would gain the necessary strength.

I was a subject in someone else's dissertation. Had to do 6 weeks of specific training with them and some testing.
