    I am looking to move to a new gym nearer home and save a 20 odd mile round trip.
    Was wondering what you reckon are 'must have' pieces equipment for any gym

    I also agree. If they have any specialised strength toys lke thick bars, it would also be a real bonus

    Would be great to see all of these instead of endless rows of treadmills,cross trainers and stationary bikes ( dont get me wrong they have their place)

    Are any gyms just weights/resistance orientated ?

    Perhaps if there was a governing body for this industry they could draw up a minimum requirements list for ALL gyms to conform to and your suggestions should all be on it
