Decided to carry on using the westside routine ME/DE.

    Cycling ME bench stuff around

    week 1 - pin press
week 2 - reverse band bench press
week 3 - cgbp with regular band setup
    week 4 - board press

Everytime maxing out aiming for a new pb from the 4 weeks back...

A week out of my comp now, so no training this week, possibly 1 session going light.

Thought I may aswell post an idea of my diet as I am not training much at the moment.

    Yesterday was something like:

    14:00 250ml double cream / 50g whey - 1300kcal

16:00 - 17:00 2.5 pints of organic full fat milk (out of date had to drink) -1200 kcal

19:00 6 egg omelete fried in oil / 1 large steak fried in oil - aprox 1050 kcals

23:30 1 large gamon fried in oil / 100g cheese melted on top. - 800 kcal

    02:30 150 ml coconut milk / 15ml Extra virgin olive oil / 60g whey - 700 kcal

total - 5050kcal little high today meal times were messed up so had to up kcals on a number of meals.. also had a litre of fruit juice....adding quite alot of kcals more to that total I guess...

5000 cals is quite a lot! What are your stats? You're bound to put on weight quite quickly with that sort of diet..

But 5000kcal would be a lot for you John surely at ~ 73kg? I'm approaching 75kg, used to probably have ~ 3000-3500 but can't be bothered nor see too much point in keeping track so long as protein is adequate. Having said that I haven't put on any size and did plateau for a while.. I'm bursting through now but this is probably because I'm at home and my mum's doing the cooking

Edit: I am training as a powerlifter

P.s. they're big lifts so having said that you probably justify that kcal requirement!

I consume 3500-4000 when bulking. 5000 would be too much for me, yes.

Good to hear you are training as a powerlifter
