First workout for just over a week, and after a week of drinking and a less than brilliant diet I really suffered.

Decided to try some benching before doing a Upper superset day.

    Benchpress

    55Kgx10
    65Kgx5
    73Kgx5
    82Kgx3
    82Kgx3
    65Kgx10

Bench press and BOR superset 50Kg

    10reps 45secs rest
    10reps 1mins rest
    10reps BOR 30secs rest
    10reps BOR

DB Shoulder press 12Kg Wide grip chins

10 reps SP 8 reps chins 1min rest
10 reps SP 6 reps chins 1 min rest
10 reps SP 8 reps chins 1 min rest
10 reps SP 8 reps chins

    Barbell curl, Skull crushers 25Kg

    10 reps 1min rest
    10 reps 1min rest
    10 reps

Absolutely knackered at the end, proberbly didnt help myself benching first but fancied trying it as I havent really done heavy benching for a while.

Feel like ive been given a reprieve, I have an upcoming Hernia operation but have just found out my recovery time until I can do weights is going to be half-a third of what Id expected so I will still be able to have some summer bulking time which is great for me as this is when I am out of rugby season. Next plan is to try and find a decent routine for my bulk. Im considering either an HST routine, something similar to the MP Bulking routine or possibly something like Westside training. In the meant time need to stop being defeatest and try and stay in good shape for the next 4-5 weeks through cardio.
