    Think the main benefits are the fact it's less harsh on your spine, and gives your abs a decent workout too.

    front squats are no different do back squats except bar placement.

    you have to keep your torso more erect and the bar is placed in front of you on the front delts rather than behind on the traps in a back squat.

    same level of safety, i advise getting a spotter if its the first time you're doing it. its mainly about technique and bar placement. after that then you can up the weights.

    i love both vaiations but the front squat makes me work just that bit more as its harder to balance cos your hands are closer in whereas in a back squat, you can put the hands out as out as you want.

    Been busy with work recently, but the situation is this. I gained or lost nothing last week.

    So I've decided it's either too many calories or, I've put laen mass in the gym, gonna cut down the calories. see what happens.

    I'm gonna try get a bit more confident with normal squats before, just going to try and concentrate on form.
