I am pretty new member and customer to my protein. i have been posting a bit on here about my diet and such and thought that i would start my own journal to record my results and pic your brains when i need a bit of advice, or even to get a kick up the back side when i need to change something.

At the end of Christmas i weighed in at 22 stone 8 lbs. Its pretty disgusting that i got myself into that state to be honest but you dont see it happening if that makes scense.

Any way i decided that i was going to do something about it and since Christmas have managed to get myself down to 20 stone. I have been stuck at 20 stone for a good month now and have posted up my diet and training programe in the diet section. quite a few members have given me advice and i think i know where i have been going wrong.

My journal will incorporate all of that now i have got one up and running.

    Here are my current stats

    Weight: 20 stone / Target 17 stone
    Height : 6ft2
Body fat - 55% ? pretty sure thats about right
    BMI - 36.8

Will post a photo of my progress so far next. (that being my 15th post enabling me to add pictures)

Excellent job man, from the side view your stomach looks fairly flat. Another 1-1.5 stone is gonna make a massive difference.

You will have to post up pics when you have gotten down some more, I bet you will look great.

Thanks for all the supportive comments!

Here is my diet and training:

    MY DIET a typical day!

6am - 45g of porridge oats mixed in water / I drink this un cooked

    10am - <competitor product> / 42g Protein, 24g Carbs, 3g fat

12am - Chicken breast or Tuna salad seasoned with olive oil.

4pm - Meal replacement shake - (as above)

6pm - Tin of tuna with mixed salad or vegetables.

10pm - 30g of casien protein shake before bed.

Following the advice given i am trying to take 280g protein, 100g Carbs and 100-150g fats for the time being to kick start the weight loss. I was not eating enough but have increased the foods by adding the MR Shakes / These are to be replaced with the myprotein shakes once i drink the remaining <competitor brand> shakes ive had for a while.

    Training

    MON - 30mins High Intensity cardio / X Trainer
TUES - Weight training - chest tris and biceps
    WED - 30mins cardio
THU - Weight training - back and legs
    FRI - Cardio 30mins
    SAT - No training
    SUN - No training

My training is going to change as recommended so i do my cardio straight after weights. I will do this maybe on a Moday, Wednesday and Friday to break it up a bit.
    Please feel to critique.
