    Squat

    Squat :
    20kg x 10
    20kg x 10
    50kg x 8
    70kg x 6

    70% x 3 : 102.5kg x 3
    80% x 3 : 117.5kg x 3
    90% x 3+ : 132.5kg x 8

    80kg x10
    80kg x10
    80kg x10
    80kg x10
    80kg x10

    Ab Rollouts : 8 x 4 sets

Nice session there. Put my belt on for all working sets to try and get used to it. This is the first time really I've used it when squatting and it wasn't too bad. Was absolutely knackered by the end of the squatting. Here is a video of todays squatting.

    Almost forgot about this...

Heres what it looks like :

    Heres how it works:

You put it round your waist and loop the end over the knot like shown. This will hold it around your waist.

You then take the loose end and put it through the hole in the weight or through the handle and clip the carbiner on beyond the knot on the other side. This will make sure it dosent slip into the middle.

Haha kind of hard to explain... just like a normal dipping belt but homemade!

    Bench

    Bench :
    20kg x12
    20kg x14
    40kg x12
    60kg x5

    70% x 3 : 72.5kg x 3
    80% x 3 : 82.5kg x 3
    80% x 3 : 92.5kg x 6

    50kg + chains :

    x10
    x10
    x10
    x10
    x9

    Weighted Pullups (+7.5kg) : 5x5

Not bad I suppose although I wanted atleast 7 or 8 on 92.5kg. I tried it twice, I know I shouldnt have but let my breathe on out the 7th rep and lost it half way up. Second time I managed 6 again so can't really complain. Still a 1 rep improvement on 2 weeks ago when I last done this weight as my 95% x1+ set so still an improvement.

I train in my garage as you can see from my videos!

What side of the city do you live on and I'll see if I can tell you some good gyms near you?

I know someone who workouts in venice physique. Is that the one near glasgow green in the eastend?

He says its a proper powerlifting gym but I have never been there. I also think a few powerlifting comps are held there, think the GBPF Juniours is there in november which I would have liked to compete in.

    Deadlift

    Deadlift :
    20kg x10
    60kg x10
    90kg x3 (conventional) x3 (Sumo?)

    70% x 3 : 120kg x 3
    80% x 3 : 137.5kg x 3
    90% x 3+ : 155kg x 6

    Video of 155kg x 6 : YouTube - Deadlift 155kg x6 210509

    Pendlay Row :
    20kg x10
    40kg x10
    65kg - 5x5

    Chinups:
    BW x 6
    BW x 6
    BW x 6
    BW x 6
    BW x 5

    Really good session overall.

Dunno why but decided to try some sumo stance deadlifts. When I done 90kg x 3 it felt really easy and alot more natural than the conventional so tried these throughout my workout. All working sets where comfortable and I definately feel stronger doing them. Last time I done a comparable weight it was 152.5kg x 5 so 1 rep improvement and higher weight, cant complain! Didnt want to push it too much though with this as it was my first time using this stance.

Upped the weight on the Pendlay Rows and they all seemed easy enough, easier than last week on 62.5kg.

Managed more chins this week aswell.
