Thanks Martin but I've got it in my head now that I AM going to beat them , and I now hate them maybe 15% less than I did 2 months ago... (clever how the 'ol mind play tricks on you like that isn't it folks?) but that's because they're my mountain to conquer and I can see my goal of 15 reps is slowly in sight... so I'm determined to get there. Also sometimes, I like to mentally force myself to do sometime I dislike during training... and I feel better afterwards for it (kinda like "I told you so, you could do it!"), so long as I'm not overtraining or causing myself injury I think it's good for me to meet my 's head-on!

    P.S. It's so funny... I nickname them chicken-wings too...!
Thrusters... I'm planning on making those my Tabata exercise on my "off" days in the mornings to pep up the old metabolism and to burn off the belly-fat! I keep posting & mentioning the darn thrusters here on the forum everytime there's even a sniff of a mention of Tabata... so I really should bite the bullet and do some myself

    Date: Monday 20th October 2008
Workout: Bodyweight / Cardio (Main Focus)
Notes: Same routine as last workout

Hmmmmm... what can I say? I've got my 2nd cold in 3 weeks ! So, I only trained Monday this week much coughing of phlegm (nice - NOT!) and I couldn't quite finish it all for feeling nauseous - which I never get during training. But, excuses aside I've still made some strength gains - so I'm a little bit happier than last week's effort. Finally conquering the Lateral Raises , and happy with my Shoulder Presses too, so all in all not too bad.

I'm going to figure out a BW plan to post up for scrutiny (GB thanks for the link by the way!) so I can from start of November up my no. of workouts from 2 per week to 4 per week & all going to be at home from now on.

Well done you for going through with the workout while feeling pants. Try and take it easy and get those vitamins and lemsip down you.

Have you changed your diet or anything recently (can often bring on a cold) or are you just suffering from normal October sniffles?

Glad you liked the link too!

Cheers GB... me, my Mum & my brothers have always been susceptible to colds . I've been taking my vitamins, Echinacea, Vitamin C, Zinc etc. and diet = normal.

I used to get a cold & for hubby it'd be 3-4 days... me 2-3 weeks! But in those days my diet was v. poor (junk food for dinner 3-4 per week), and I never took time off from work, therefore stress kept the viruses lingering in my system for ages. Now, I'm older & wiser! My work - life balance is better, diet better & exercises makes me feel better... which means I get over the bugs faster (for me) than I used to.
