You do realise that once I have got my butt in gear (and got my lab equipment to cooperate...the mass spec hated the hot summer and now it's having a paddy over the cold) and I have got robust, replicable results, I'll be sending you a draft of my next paper.

Sorry Dope, I can offer no help on the thesis because I am scientifically totally numpty brained!!! I can help with grammar and the like as English Language was my specialty so am here for that if required!

Blimey young man, 3 ladies fighting over you, how lucky are you?!!! (and I will fight hardest GB & LH, 5 ft 5in and 80kg...damn, that is my ideal man!!!! ).

What sort of levels have you competed up to until now Dope? And what sort of age range can you effectively compete at in your sport? I know it varies widely from sport to sport...
Fat is my enemy, not muscle or fitness. I refuse to accept today's projection of femininity being stick thin and obsessed with make up and fashion.

no problem, i need help on my grammar as well.

    hahahaha

i can keep competing till i'm well into the 40s really as you don't get as much injuries as if you did fighting, just the joints take a bit of a pounding from all the jumps sticking the landings.

competing at world level at the moment, was seeded number two until a few weeks ago. didn't do the worlds this year as it was too expensive and started my final year at uni.

WOW!!!!!!!! We are truly in the presence of excellence. And I mean that!!!!!

I'm glad you've got something you can effectively compete in for a good long time, it makes a big difference I think. Yes to the joints though - would recommend Glucosamine and Chondritin for that (mind you, don't why I'm telling you that, you most likely know already! Just thought I would try and sound knowledgeable about SOMETHING! ).

Do you get any sponsorship for what you do or is it all funded yourself?

lol, thanks. i've been thereabouts world champ in 2006 and 2007, as only the top four go through to the finals (1x gold, 1x silver, 2xbronze) and in the finals you compete in reverse seed order, so whoever qualified 3rd/4th, go first, then 2nd qualifier then last competitor the 1st qualifier.

i qualified 1st in both 2006 and 2007, lost out in 2006 cos i basically didnt prepare enough, changed my form 6weeks before the worlds, not enough time for my body to get used to it. 2007, lost out due to politics, but i have been world champ for about a week in total unofficially. hhahahha.

got some more updated vids on my laptop, will send them you next time you're online. in the process of making a sampler as well, of my competition footage and training footage.

regards the sponsorship, currently not being sponsored, MP.....

due to the nature and sport i do. the university wont sponsor me as i'm not in the uni teams or part of the busa teams (british uni sports association) even though i train in tkd and the uni has a tkd club, becuase i'm not part of that club they wont sponsor me either.

still trying to pay off my first world championships, lol.

Dope, I think that is so incredibly unfair. It makes me furious that our elite athletes and sports people have to fight so hard for sponsorship when footballers prance around like royalty getting paid insane amounts of money. They don’t hold down a real job (or full time study) plus train, plus do all the other things that go with being dedicated to your sport.

World Champion. Wow. Never met one of those before!!!

You have my utmost respect. And someone needs to sponsor you. NOW. I only have about £5 but it might buy you a steak!

And I HAVE to see those videos, that would be so cool!!!!

That sucks, royally. I agree with everything Delphinus says about the struggle for athletes when footballers get paid, frankly, ridiculous salaries.

Dope you need a website. Do you have any techny minded mates who could help you put together one. I think a LOT of people would love to see your vids.
