Friday 6th August
HST Week 2 of 8 - Workout 6
15 Rep Range
120 sec rest between sets on Squats and Clean & Press.
90 sec rest between sets on others MAX!
ATG Front Squats +2.5kg - Really struggling with the grip. Hardly hitting quads at all.
15x70, 15x70
Walking BB Lunges +2.5kg - Ouch!
15x67.5
BOR's +5kg - Undercooked it, had more in me. Perfect sets, great feel and pump
15x70, 15x72.5
Inc DB Press +2.5kgx2 - Went for it and failed. Last set rest paused 15 secs, total failure
12x37.5, 14x35 -> 4x35 -> 4x30(f)
Hang Clean & Push Press +3 reps - Pushed harder, still couldn't hit 15 reps. HARD!!
(13x45 + 2x45), (12x45 +3x45)
SS1 Calf Raises +10kg +6 reps - Don't want to lift more weight so raised reps. Burner!
21x200, 21x205
SS1 DB Preacher curls +2.5kgx2
15x12.5, (12x15 +3x15)
CGBP - Read the sheet wrong, should've been 75kg![]()
15x72.5, 15x72.5
SLDL's +5kg

Total Workout Time = 65 mins in and out
Workout took a bit longer today, didn't do as many supersets and I also did a few more warmups than usual. Calf raises especially, I'm wary of bringing on tendonitis in my achilles as they ache when I go heavy. Much better today
Front squats kill me. Have no choice but use the crossed arms grip and this gets very difficult for high reps. Not too bad upto 10 but after that it's murder, especially on my back.
Clean & Presses are just brutal for high reps.
All in all a good cycle of 15's and I'm pleased.

I did them for the first time today and I promptly turned to jelly!
very strong calf raises too! i can handle a fair bit of weight but it all goes to pot when i go over 10 reps never mind 20 lol.
why cant you do clean grip with the frontals?
