Not bad Weaves, hope the MRI results are positive. I also hope you get rid of those filthy knee extensions once rehabilitated, and the disgusting tricep kickbacks/pushdowns follow soon after. Or better yet, just stop those right now. Train the movement mate, not the muscle. Would also like to see abit more military press in there...

Willo, you are perhaps my favourite scrum half ever.

Triceps were only a quick workout on monday, I ran through that in about 5 minutes max. I will be including some double arm extensions next monday, but another good exercise would be welcome aswell. Once the knee is 100% again I'll be switching to a more explosive power based workout. I am nowhere near as fit or strong as I was when I last played. On the plus side I don't think I have had concussion lately

    Deadlift 14x40kg 10x60kg 10x60kg 10x60kg

    Barbell Row 10x20kg 10x30kg 10x30kg 10x30kg

Barbell lift with one end wacked in corner of the garage 10x5kg 10x15kg 10x20kg
For this exercise I did each set twice swapping which hand was at the top of my grip. The weight used is only the weight added to the barbell. As I don't know how much I was actually lifting due to one end being wedged into the corner.

    Single Arm Row 10x12.5kg 10x17.5kg 10x20kg 10x25kg

    Biceps

    Alternating Bicep curls 10x10kg 10x10kg 10x10kg

    Seated Hammer Curls 10x8kg 10x8kg 10x7kg

    Ex Bar Curls 10x15kg 8x15kg (8+2)x15kg

Well first real heavy back and biceps session in about 9 months and I can tell from the figures. I used to hammer curl 17.5kg so by the time I got to these I was pretty fatigued by then.

Felt good just to get some heavy weights moving again. Knee felt a little sore afterwards so I iced it. Feeling really happy and good with myself, just a little paranoid with the knee
Hoping it feels all good in the morning.

The lack of lat pulldown or wide grip pull ups is due to not having the facilities for these at home. Finished the session off with some core work too.

Wanted to get out the house so went to rugby. Didn't do any contact, just took part in the passing and defensive drills. Knee is feeling ok. Hopefully some sleep will sort it oujust fine
Was surprised at how good my hands were given the apalling conditions. I didn't throw a bad pass and only dropped the one which hit the floor at my feet anyway.
    Getting there slowly

Yeah they were part of my physio I am only going a few kgs heavier than my physio weight too.
I am more concerned about squats and deadlift, and maybe the heavier back work today. Off to bed now hoping it feels ok tomorrow

Ahh I thought it might be the physio, I thought it might be too much pressure on your bad knee but if you were advised by them then follow the adivice. Maybe some DOMS tomorrow

I did shoulders today...and we will leave it at that. It was a **** workout, I really was not into it, had a bad day in general. No point posting up the stats as they won't be useful for comparison.

Whenever I get an MRI, they give me the scans on a DVD, to pass to the Dr. Obviously, I look at them first, and try to self diagnose, usually incorrectly.

Once, my friend had an MRI on a suspected hernia. We found a big, black hole right where he suspected the hernia was. We were certain that was the hernia. The Dr told us it was a piece of poo, waiting to be transported from the lower intestine.

Hope that story makes the long wait for your results more interesting!
