If you keep procrastinating a while! Get your eat on and go get some more weights for that bar. I'd stop worrying about keeping a six pack, you've shown you can drop weight easily, focus on adding that mass.

The guns are coming on. The guy in the pic looks like he could probably bench a fair ammount, so in terms of strength I think if you could do your 3x10 inclines with 80kg and gained over a stone then you'd be heading nearer to your goal. It's difficult to say exactly how much you'd need to gain in terms of strength and weight to look like that guy, but you will need to get stronger and heavier. I wouldn't worry about fatloss you will look better as you get bigger.

You need a couple more stone of mass I reckon. Not gonna happen overnight so just concentrate on eating and training as best you can. Strength = size, so lift some heavy weights

Thanks everyone. I've slowly come to realize I Need to increase the weight on the bar, before now I didn't think strength came into the aesthetics equation but strength > size. So that's what I've been trying the last month or so, really pushing myself to increase weight each session or every other at least! I'm gonna go for it now, xmas really helped me ease up on the obsessive clean eating, I'm much more lenient than I was so it should work in my favour for mass, I still eat clean but I include more carbs from fruit and milk have also been indulging in my favourite > breakfast cereals!! Got some planned for tonight and tomorrow night hehe!

As long as I keep calories in check, eat when I'm hungry should be good to go!

Aim now is an 80kg bench, 100kg squat, 130kg deadlift 3X10 I don't think they are too unreasonable, we shall see..

Well done on getting your eat on and lifting some heavy weights You'll see the benefits as you go.

Hello Mexico is a friends band, ex members of lots of other bands but I can forward your site to several people, bands, promotors, roadies, drivers, groupies and more. Really like the stuff on the site, it's good! Do you draw and sell tattoo flash to shops at all?

Ahh cool man, Yeah I'd love for you to forward my site/details to people, always looking to do more band work!

I don't sell any flash sadly. I had considered doing some sheets and seeing if people would be interested but time just doesn't allow me to do so... One day though! I'm getting my eat on right now as I work, haha!

Training was good yesterday. Didn't do Deadlifts, have been harboring a cold so doing deadlifts twice this week didn't appeal too much to me... What are peoples thoughts on deadlift frequency? I remember Martin Berkham saying deadlifts more than once a week is not a good idea...HMMMM

Bench Press 54kg X10, 55kgX10,8, 7 ... Really struggled on the last set, chest was battered! aim is 55kg 3X10
Hang Cleans 4X10 36kg (35kg last sesh) really good, felt the pain in the traps, delts etc
Tricep Extensions 3X10 L15kg R16kg +1kg on each tough as hell
Bent over rows to the face 2X12 11kg, 12kg +1kg
OH Press - 13kg X10, X9, X8 triceps were failing me at this point, couldn't push it above my head!

How is my routine looking? Good enough for gains!?

Right so still too poor at the moment to allow decent over eating on clean high fat approach, so I've been toying with the idea of increased carbs, maybe some junk calories here and there.. Basically just an enjoy my food kind of phase, in a bid to spend less money on food while adding mass.

Getting calories from cheese and full fat yogurt was getting way too much.. so I imagine I'll have some oats and cereal post workout, quite a fair bit of milk and eggs, cream more chicken legs and wings etc

Anyway, as I've been undereating this past two weeks, I've used a modified workout, basically same as before, but with 3 sets of 5 reps on my exercises. I have come to enjoy the intense, but brief workouts, so I'm thinking of maybe doing something along those lines for future workouts. Would this work? My thoughts are something along these lines, like a 5X5 I guess -

    Workout A 5X5
    Squat
    Pull Ups
    Bent Rows
    BB curls

    Workout B 5X5
    Deadlift - Every Other Workout
    Chest Press incline
    Hang Cleans
    Close Grip Press
    OH Press

    How does that look?
