    No cardio on bulk (;
    Haha, ya dont need it man, if you really want, a 5 min warmup run to get blood into your legs before squats and after is always beneficial to clear out the lactic acid, i find it helps stop me getting DOMs

    Hah ha! Ok, ok I will try that then, I don't do squats I do lunges and stiff leg deads. But I'll give the warm up a go.

    Saavy's looking good eh MH? What kind of look are you after in terms of composition etc?

    I would say dont stop cardio completely otherwise you'll just feel lazy and sluggish, gradually decrease it - till your down to a warm up/cool down as per MH's advice.

    for the first year that i trained i avoided squats and deadlifts, but now do them more frequently then any other exercise - get squatting

    Well yea that's one reason why I wanted to do a bit of light cardio/circuits. I'll prob just opt for circuits or maybe light cardio if I ate wayy over.

    Squatting, yeah I did do them, up until my last routine change, I'm not a fan, if I can get the same workout from lunges I'll stick with them for a while. It's still a compound movement. I dunno, if my legs start lagging then I'll swap it for squats!

    What kind of squat numbers do you have? Mine aren't very good..

    Well I've decided to swap my lunges for squats today, figured it will take less time anyway, a set of lunges take double the time of squats... I hate working legs, can you tell? Although I do like stiff leg deads, I just hate the squatting motion.

    Calories have been really good, I have been taking in average of 2900 macros vary but generally on a workout day

    fat // 67-70 protein // 23-30 Carb 0-10
    On off days protein comes in lower. Fat is typically up at 75% taking me north of 250g!

    Real excited, my gf has pre ordered a nut butter maker! Shame I gotta wait till xmas, store nut butter for me ˜L˜

    Edit -- Not sure if I need to start taking in more calories... Don't want to over do it though. Hmmm

    Hmm not sure if I'm getting a cold, have had a dulling headache past few days. Any tips on getting rid of it? Should I skip training?

    Ha ha, no I won't be skipping it, can't allow myself to. I think the headache has come from a small plug in heater i have in my studio, it's freezing so been using that past couple of days, makes me feel a bit funny.. Anyone experienced that before?

    Well after Saavy prompted me I decided to swap lunges for squats. So glad I did that. Half the time spend under the bar, felt much better. Calories have been consistent, not sure if I need to be increasing the amount weekly or anything... Hmmm.

    I am yet to have a big carb meal. I've been eating bananas in the AM with and carbs coming from milk, peanut butter, just trying to keep it no starch really.

    Is it necessary to get starch in to see gains?? Keep thinking back to the basic premise of the Anabolic Diet - 5 days low carb 2 day refeed... is it really essential?

    all my figures have dropped quite a bit, the highest on full range squats was 100kgs inc bar/8 reps, but now i've changed it up and working more hypertrophy -

    1 warm set just bar 10-12 reps
    5 sets of 10 reps 70kgs inc bar, very very slow negs, about 4-5sec.

    And whats this about skipping training dude, soldier through it, sweat it out!
