Hopefully by doing a log I should be able to take the finger out my ass and start training my legs like I used to!

    Saturday 10-10-2009
    Flat Bench press 64kg (8 reps) 61.5kg (7 reps) 61.5kg (6 reps)

    Bent over rows 40kg ( 3 x 8 reps)

    Push Press 44kg ( 3x6 reps)

    Dips BW + 7.5kg (10 reps, 8 reps) BW+5kg (6 reps)

Going to add in some Reverse curls here too.
Bench was hard today, Should make 65kg for 8 reps next time, Even if I get 8,7,7 reps I will be happy. Need to find another exercise for bent over rows, really don't feel comfortable with them and can't get up the weights, I hold the weight at the top for a second and this limits the weight I use.

I do this workout, the same reps every 4 or 5 days, I also do legs but not often enough and could do with starting them again, which I will on Monday as I'll be missing football for a few weeks due to work commitments.

I think I'm going to start altering my workouts too, the one above is 6-8 reps, and I could do with doing something about 12 reps to change it around, maybe add in some dumbbell work too, I think I'll do the below...

    DB Incline Bench press 3x12
Rack pulls 3x12 ( for lower back area)
    Hang cleans 3x10
Chin ups 3xf ( Can't do a huge amount, maybe 12 so might start adding weight)
    Close grip Bench Press 3x12

I would however like to do something a bit more fun, I quite enjoy the farmers walk and would consider something along the lines of that... will look into it.

Yeah, will be alternating to keep it a bit more fun. Going to keep squats in there for both as obviously it is the biggest mass builder in my opinion and hopefully it will strengthen up my knee a bit too.

Have not done SLDL, Lunges or Good mornings much before, so will need to take them slow as I will be doing with all the lifts to focus more on form. Happy with my squat form and deadlift however so will just bash on with the weights for that.

So did my legs for the first time in ages the other day, Never been a big lifter with them although my form is pretty good.

Squats - 3x8 - 60kg By the time the 3rd set came these were easy.
SLDL - 3x10 - 40kg These were pretty easy however I have not done them for over a year and was looking for good form.

Good mornings - did 1 set and then decided I don't like these, will be looking for something else to do.
