Ok so 2009 was full of potential promise.. but never really got further than regular catch up.. and December took a big drop off again..

Now I am getting ready for 2010 with a much better structured eating routine, and will try to ensure I make the minimum gym visits each month.

Quiting Smoking again, and will be keeping drinking to the odd party or social occasion. And am cutting from just lager to some better option spirits and soft drinks.

Will post starting pictures up over the next week once I have got the Chrimbo food and drink through my system... lol..

My main target (still) is to achieve 12 stone (76kg) whilst keeping body fat around 12-15%.

Will confirm current stats later in the week.

This thread will also act as an experiment on my thoughts for eating and training and will be the basis around a mini book I am thinking of writing on training and nutrition.

Here's to a successful 2010 for me and everyone else.

Ok.. so I'm still awaiting my new start, and to get get back to the gym!!!

Been ill for over a week now and prior to that work commitments have been crazy..

In the meantime, was wondering would working out 2-3 days on the trot be ok if took the rest of the week off?
Was thinking to make sure I got started, to go every Sat & Sunday for few weeks while I get work settled again..

Do you think I could survive my routine without days rest between?

So here we are in March... and what's happening with the Scouse training plan?

    Errr.... not much!!

BUT.. I have now started home warm up sessions..

Decided instead of throwing my self back into the gym and doing an attempted light work out for a week or two and actually going over board and then being unable to move for days on end with DOM's that i should warm my body up with some light body work outs at home as much as possible then hit the gym fresh and ready..

So, Push ups, crunches, planks, squats and some light barbell/dumbell work is the way for now..

Even attempted hand stand push ups, but just rested on my head for a minute and gave up!! lol..
