    Hey All,

    Welcome to my log!

    My stats:

    Age: 30
    Height: 6'3"
    Weight: 19st 3lbs

I'm coming towards the end of my beginners program which was based around Stronglifts. I'm aiming for a 200kg squat for 3x3 before moving on to Texas method. I will only do the Texas method for my squats. My other lifts have suffered as I broke my hand in October 09.

My last session went as follows:

    Squat: 192.5kg 3x3
    OHP: 65KG 5,3,0 (STALL)
    Deadlift: 170kg 1x5

I train for strength more than physique, but I'm currently dieting to cut a few pounds. I'm hoping to get down to around 18st 7lbs.
    Age: 31 - Height: 6'3" - Weight: 18st 9lb / 118kg
    Squat: 227.5kg/Bench: 170kg/Deadlift: 262.5kg/OHP: 115kg

    Todays session

    Squat 195kg 3x3
Bench 110kg tweaked my elbow so had to cut this short
    Powercleans 50kg 5x5
    Chin up 3x5

Squats as you could imagine are getting real tough, I'm really having to focus on every rep. I'm tying to squeeze every last bit out of linear progression. If I can get upto 210kg for 1x5 I may try for a heavy single of 227.5kg (500lbs).

All in all I'm happy with todays session. :-)

I've only just added Powercleans to my routine. Really enjoying them at the mo.

Surprised your OHP is only 65kg, is this not a lift you get on with?

    mental squat!

luffers i think it's probably due to broken hand, as my fractured wrist hurts sometimes when doing pressing movements

Yeah the broken hand really set me back. At the time my lifts were:

    Squat: 170kg 3x5
    Bench: 120kg 3x5
    Deadlift: 190kg 1x5
    OHP: 72.5kg

I was out of training for about 9 weeks and when I returned I could only squat. I struggled with wrist pain and flexibility for quite a while. Hopefully the Bench and OHP will start to pick up again soon.

    Todays session (The Big One)

    Squat: 200kg 3x3 New PR
    Overhead Press: 60kg 3x5
    Deadlift: 175kg 1x5
    Chin/Pull ups

Done it at last, the 200kg squat!

I'm starting the Texas method on Monday, but only for squats, I'm gonna continue with the workout to workout progression on all my other lifts.

    Well happy!

Wow!! 200kg squats!! I am jealous
    My Goals (1/15)
    Deadlift 2xBw = Press 1xBw = Squat 2xBw = Clean 100kg = Bench 100kg
    Dip 2xBw = Squat 2.5xBw = Deadlift 3xBw = 100 Pressups in 100s = 100m in <11s
    One Arm Pressup = One Arm Pullup = Press 100kg = Squat 3xBw = Deadlift 4xBw
