    Seated Leg Extension - 290 x 10, 290 x 10, 250 x 8 - felt a weird twinge in my calf on the last two reps, feels fine now
    Seated Calf Raise - 70kg x 7, 65kg x 8, 60kg x 9 - dropped weight so I can slow right down and stop bouncing at the bottom
    BB Shoulder Press - 67.5kg x 4, 65kg x 5, 62.5kg x 6
    Decline Tricep Extensions - 52.5kg x 7, 50kg x 6, 47.5kg x 9

    Started a short course of antibiotics on Mon for an infection in my finger, and weight has barely changed ever since. Wonder if they can cause water retention?

    Busy next Wed night so will drop training down to just 2 days next week. Will mean a bigger deficit for the week.

    Need to make an order for more fish oil, so might get some ZMA at the same time since I'm low cal at the minute. Always hear good things about it, but seem to remember it giving me diarrhea last time.

    Fasted training today. Another not so great session. Ladened with cold at the minute, so that's not helping, hard to concentrate on breathing when your throat's full of gunk.

    Birthday this week so swapped my sessions around so I can train on Sat. Going round to my parents for home made pizza so thought I'd train first and try and put the cals to good use. Then going to stick with 2 sessions per week. Handled the extra diet day easily enough last week so sticking with 2 sessions = greater deficit, keeping things chugging along nicely.

    Deadlifts - 160kg x 5, 155kg x 5 - form went a bit on the heavy set, have to be careful now I'm going heavier again, maybe ease off while I'm cutting

    Deadlifts - 162.5kg x 5, 155kg x 4 - lower back definitely the weak link here, feel it afterwards far more than anything else, right side always feels more tired than left too, wonder if I'm twisting, or might have something to do with mixed grip
    Chinups - 22.5kg x 5, 15kg x 6, 7.5kg x 6
    Seated Leg Curls - 170 x 4, 150 x 9, 130 x 13 - might swap these out for some extra lower back work

    Going to go for another couple of weeks and then start transition back to bulking. Don't think I'm going to get to my 80kg target, but even if I just get down to somewhere in the 80s then that'll be 8kg ish in 7 weeks, which is pretty good.

    Had a 1.1kg whoosh on Sun, which was nice. Weight hasn't shifted since though.

    Got myself some Z&M caps last week, just for the hell of it, lol. Had some trouble last time I took them, so started with one tab and worked up to three last night. Two was fine, moving to three though gave me the runs again. Will stick to two for a while, then try three again later, see if it's an adaptation thing.

    Ready for a good refeed now. Hmm, what can I have? How about... pancakes!!!

    Was asked to do deadlift with foam mats under the plates, which is fair enough, but lift felt different. Mats were only about 1" thick when compressed, but I guess this is enough to change the ROM? Any tips to get around this? Not enough smaller diameter plates to change bar height that way. Find something to stand on?

    Skin on hands gone really dry and cracked since I started taking the Z&M caps. Is this common with excess zinc?

    One more week of cutting. Could push on easily enough, weight is still dropping nicely, but I'm keen for a change. Been sitting planning my bulking strategy at work, lol.
