I do like the home gym, I want to get something like that setup myself later on in life .. Although I would add a heavy bag and a mirror to look at myself haha

I used to do a 36hour fast Friday night - Sunday Morning. I found if you end the fast with an attempt at the worlds biggest omelette 8-10eggs then I wouldn't binge afterwards and felt pretty good.

Although I did find myself becoming really irritablle/angry as Saturday night wore on.

First proper session in my new gym at home - awesome

21 hours into another fast, had a decent session today but dropped a little weight on some lifts just cos I hadn't done much in the way of squats and bench for a while.

Now back in a solid routine, so time to build on them

Squat 95kg 3x5 (felt easy so will go right back up)
    Bench 67.5kg 3x5
    Deadlift 145kg 1x6
    Dips BW+20kg 3x5

    some awesome rareness

the wee man wanted to make cakes tonight, so while the mrs was helping him i tackled my version (no wheat, gluten sugar or anyother nastys!)

    4x vanilla whey scoops
    4 whole eggs
    50g desiccated coconut
    35g butter
    a little water

melt butter and combine all in a mixing bowl, pour mixture into a springform and bake untill fluffy and desired level or brownness

mrs didnt like it as its not a very sweet cake, but to me it was spot on, the whey sweetens it enough if your not used to a high sugar diet you adjust fine to low sweetness stuff.

so aye, this is pretty much what i eat (bar the odd bit fish here and there - not a huge fish fan if im honest hence hammering the fish oil supps lol!!)

defo pinching some of these meal ideas, the meetza looks fricking splendid. I can see how eating like this means you dont crave carbs, nice hefty meals. Is it a pain in the bum explaining to people at work why you eat like you do?!

Also, how the hell do some of you fast for 24-36 hours. I would quite literally murder someone if i didnt eat for that long.

i get a mixed bag sometimes, most of them are still under the impression that the amount of saturated fat i eat will make me obese and will also clog my arteries....neither has happened to me so far, I just tell them that i ate this way and dropped from 21st to 12st.....so i know for a fact that high amounts of fat in the diet does not contribute to obesity, mix it with a high intake of carbs then you have a different story....

some days they see me eat kilos of beef...other days nothing at all during a 12hr shift.....they wonder whats up and i do say i intermittent fast 2-3x a week for 18-24hrs or so, i get the usual muscle wasteage, metabolism slowing theories but i just say i know what works for me...

since fasting and eating this way i can lift more, cycle harder and faster for longer(on less carbs also!), my mood has improved, my weight has came down dramatically, and im now starting to see a positive shift in stored fat....(even cycling 1000miles a week on high carbs saw little bodyfat reduction!!) the biggest change apart from body composition has been in my face, skin and hair....

I tend to get alot of nice compliments on how young I now look ( im nearly 27) which is awesome

this picture is one that gets most people! (im not cross eyed btw just must be the shocking before pic lol)

so yea, i can only say if you can adapt to the way of thinking and break the fat is bad mould then go for it!
