1st running injury of the year ........... causing first ever dnf in a race .
Everything was going well , great warm up etc , them 1 1/2 mile into race calf went tight and then a burning pain .
Coach thinks minor tear .
Been resting and it has settled a little so hopefully will be back doing some gentle runs next week .
Should not affect marathon training unless it takes 2 or 3 weeks . Not thinking that far ahead yet , trying to be positive
