Meat, ive managed to sort out my piriformis problem enough that i can do sumo deads again. What would you say is your preference assistance exercise out of the following two for this type of dead?

    - wide stance good morning

    - wide stance hip pullthroughs (shown halfway down this article http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle....5-005-training )

Ox heart is fantastic! i stew mine for about an hour with tomato paste and basil, and add in some liver and kidney 20 mins before the end of the cooking time.

There are some good PL routines on t-nation (the Pendulum Powerlifting routine is a good starter, but id increase the length of each segment to at least 3 weeks), as well as fortifiediron.net. Also check out some of the stuff over at elitefts.com.

Just below the knees. It feels more like a hip and hams weakness than lower back (sumos are definately more of a leg exercise than regular deads from what i have expereinced with both styles)

I do my DE work raw, I use them for my ME work generally. Might switch it up after xmas though, mix it up and see which works better for you. I love boxsquats with bands!
