Yeah first time the SD is a real bummer as you feel you just want to keep lifting and improving. After a few cycles you kind of limp over the finish line and very gratefull for a few weeks off lol

You going to have the full 2 weeks SD then? Doing another cycle after this?

Not sure, i may do 10 days and just continue some cardio as pre-season football starts a week tomorrow!

Still deciding what to do after that, i think i prefer the low rep heavy weight style of training (i.e the 5's).

not too sure how much benefit the 15'2 and 10's will do if i am on a kcal deficit and not actually putting on any muscle.

you think i can just change the workouts slightly and keep the 5's going?

Your back should be arched throughout the lift and as upright as possible.

ok, i am prob arching the wrong way though, if u know what i mean....

i am fine on the way up, but when i go too heavy, the weight tends to bend my back and draw my upper body over towards the ground.

    does that make sense?

i suppose its the opposite to what you are supposed to do?

i sometimes suffer from this. concentrate on contracting your erector spinae (back muscles ) as tight as possible even before you start lifting.
