Hi, thought I would start a journal.

Been training fo about 6 months now, although I would probably say since March I have been really into it, taking protein supplements, & doing things like squats.
I am always really motivated at the gym, eat well, although I like the occasional treats! (love chocolate!) but recently I have lost lean tissue, perhaps too much CV, & not enough food, as suggested.

So I am starting a new programme today (I change every 7 weeks) and got the diet back on track after a naughty weekend, alcohol (which I dont normally do!) chocolate and other crap.

So today I have ate: (will write todays, as it is typical of most days, not putting it everyday!)

    Breakfast:
50g of oats, skimmed milk, half scoop (approx 12.5g) vanilla MP Max
Mid Morn: Apple: 1 scoop choc whey & water
Lunch: Sandwich - 2 slices wholemeal bread, lots of chicken! Low fat yogurt, hanful of cherries
Afternoon: Banana, 1 scoop whey & water
Pre workout: 2 slices of toast (planned for today!)
PWO: 2 scoops whey - planned for today
Evening: tuna & green veg. - planned for today

    Drinks: water & green tea.

I will put my new program down tommorow!

I am trying to lose bodyfat.

    Does this sound okay?

    Thanks !

Too many shakes for my liking. Wholefood burns more calories through digestion etc.

Not enough fat for anyones liking. Your body needs fat for a whole host of functions. Have a read of this thread.

What would you suggest I have instead of whey, as a snack at work?

I used to have peanut butter on apples, but nuts dont agree with me! So cut them out.

I sometimes boil an egg and eat it cold, but I try to not eat many eggs, as I heard too many are bad for you, (can rise levels of cholestorol)

    Thanks

They do raise cholesterol but it's the good form of choloesterol, not bad. Also the high Nitrogen content helps in the breakdown down of protein to Amino Acids which is another positive. To be honest one a day would be fine.

I'd perhaps replace the afternoon shake with an egg or some kind of meat. Pastrami is a favourite or if you like sushi, something like that. Then possibly split your PWO shake to 1 scoop PreWO and 1 scoop PostWO.

As a snack food I find Oakcakes with a little Peanut Butter is good. Look for the Natural Earth Brands or similar as they use Palm Oil which is a lot better for you instead of Vegetable Oil.

I never posted my full workout, forgot all about it! (been too busy in gym!!)

I have been doing a full body workout, 4 times a week.

Two different workouts though, one low reps heavy weight, 3 sets, other moderate weight high reps, 2 sets.
    Different exercises on each one.

Progressing well! For incline DB press for example, I reckon next week I will have to go to the mens bit in the gym, as the female DBs only go upto 10kg. Always called the mens bit, not many woman go in there. You lot look a bit scary!!
